Meet Our New Director of International Instruction – Ron Berg

Effective September 1, CINEC is pleased to announce that Ron Berg assumed the role of Director of International Instruction.

Ron is known for his commitment to leadership and instruction. He has spent 9 years teaching in China where he became fully fluent in Mandarin, including 5 years as a teacher and principal at Luwan Senior High School’s BC Offshore Program, operated by CINEC.

His work ethic, curricular knowledge and leadership abilities led to his appointment as Principal at Luwan where he served for several years. Recently he returned to BC and served as the Principal at Dawson Creek Secondary School.

Ron has an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies, a Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Education, all from Lakehead University. His passions include education, environmental & social issues, sports & fitness, chess, cooking and most importantly, his family.

CINEC is pleased to welcome Ron to our Vancouver office. His personal aim is to “support and strengthen the wonderful work we are doing in CINEC schools”. Please join us in welcoming Ron to his new role as Director of International Instruction.
