Accreditation of these schools means that when students apply to Canadian schools and universities, they are similar to students applying from any school in British Columbia, Canada. For Gr. 12 students, they use their Ministry of Education-issued high school transcript and their BC Dogwood Graduation Certificate and their English 12 examination marks to apply to universities and are admitted based on their Grade Point Average achieved at the certified BC offshore school. Although coming from outside of Canada, students in these BC offshore schools have spent years of their education where the language of instruction is English thereby enhancing their opportunities for success in both Canadian universities and universities around the world.
